In pictures: New chandelier Aria Gold by Zaha Hadid

Aria is a lamp designed by Zaha Hadid for Slamp, which combines dramatic architectural features with the intrinsic weightlessness of the materials, creating a sculpture of light and technology.

The 50 individual layers of Cristalflex (a techno-polymer patented by Slamp) work together to make Aria.

A never-before-seen lavish and lustrous expression of design enriches Zaha Hadid’s Aria collection.

Aria Gold’s 50 layers, radiating around a LED source, are each different from the other and are responsible for the fluidity and dynamism that immediately identify Hadid’s work and brings the visionary archistar’s architectural features to any interior.

Aria Gold, made of polycarbonate and covered in shining gold powder, is the newest, more contemporary member of the family, which already includes the three transparent versions, and the extra-large translucent with black overlay.

Zaha Hadid’s dynamic and visionary architecture results in a volume that is apparently dematerialised, where illumination and lightness blend, defining natural design, becoming almost aquatic.

50 transparent surfaces, encountering LED lights positioned on their axis, take on a texture and enlighten the space with a vibrant atmosphere.
