Pleat Box The idea behind the Pleat Box is that of a sophisticated combination between a digitally-designed crease in a piece of cloth, the silhouette of which is applied to a ceramic base. The outer part of the lamp is offered in white ceranic, underglazed red clay and grey – the result of recycling different enamels. The brilliant white enamel interior creates a glitter effect, which enhances the light from the lamp. It can be made in 18 carat gold on the inside, which generates a warm light. It’s available in four sizes and is the result of a collaboration between Xavier Mañosa, a master ceramicist from Barcelona, Spain and Mashallah design studio in Berlin with Marset. Bevelrock The bevelled finish gives a unique texture on the tile that gives the surface an embossed designer look. The added rustic finish to the design makes the tiles look attractive on the walls and is tempting for customers to touch the distinctive exterior layers. It is available in size 45 x 45 cm. Tea Tea is the first upholstered bed launched by Sancal. The back-tilt allows users to lean back for reading or watching TV in bed. The bed uses the hexagonal quilt and the possibility of creating both bi-coloured and bi-textured pieces. As a novelty, Sancal uses Steelcut upholstery by Kvadrat for unquilted areas. Base and headboard covers are completely removable when upholstered in fabric. It was designed by Estudihac Jmferrero, led by Jose Manuel Ferrero. Cottons, wools, linens, velvets, micro-fibres, wood, DM, glass, polyurethane, aluminium and steel are the materials which form Sancal products. Sancal +44 7860 517059 www.sancal.com5/5
