Rob Jackson has been recently appointed to become the Director of the Middle East sector of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Jackson is set to lead the Middle East region with the headquarters located in Dubai and will be working to gain regional recognition for RICS’ international standards in land, property and construction.
Jackson will work alongside over 1800 RICS members in the Middle East Region to help execute the RICS agenda for the region.
“I am looking forward to working with Middle Eastern governments, regulators, developers and other stakeholders to improve professionalism and encourage the adoption and endorsement of internationally recognised professional standards in the built environment. This needs to be a critical focus for governments and regulators across the region in order to provide transparency and confidence thus attracting both internal and overseas investment,” Jackson said.
