Design Days Dubai, the city’ leading design exhibit is ongoing until the 20th March.
With 44 renowned exhibitors from 20 different countries, this year’s highlights are across the global spectrum from the Middle East to South Africa.
Design Days 2015 not only saw a record increase in Middle Eastern exhibitors but it also saw a number of special projects designed specifically for Dubai. Additionally, the fourth edition saw an improved participation from leading international design organisations like the World Design Capital – Taipei 2016 and Beijing Design Week, which illustrates the fair’s growing presence on a global platform.
“The special projects and installations at Design Days Dubai open the fair to a broader audience,” explains Cyril Zammit, fair director. “These captivating and often large-scale works push the boundaries of design as we know it and will awe design aficionados and enthusiasts alike.
“Design Days Dubai represents the first time that many of these global design studio and individuals have exhibited in the Middle East, creating an exciting opportunity for regional audiences to experience their internationally-acclaimed works first-hand.”
