In pictures: UAE’s most anticipated projects

We have been seeing countless projects being launched for the UAE, some of which are sophisticated and interesting, while others are more of a comeback of 2008’s crazy architecture.

Regardless of their aesthetic, here are a few projects that we can’t wait to see built.

These include the recently revealed plans to build the largest policeman cap for Dubai Police Museum, the Al Bateen development in Abu Dhabi, Nakheel’s Boardwalk on the Palm Jumeirah, the futuristic Al Fayah Park by Heatherwick for Abu Dhabi, Jean Louvel’s Louvre Abu Dhabi, Aladdin City on the Dubai Creek, the Dubai Design District, the dhow-shaped Opera house and finally, Zaha Hadid’s melting ice cube building planned for Dubai.
