Hansgrohe has launched the RainBrain, a personal digital control centre for the shower.
The mini-computer controls shower operation, jet types and temperature, with five individual functions.
“RainBrain is the latest product to arrive in the Middle East. It is an attractive not only for technology enthusiasts, but for customers who want to enjoy their shower without the need for complex and complicated control systems,” said Dirk Schilmoeller, sales and marketing manager Middle East, Hansgrohe.
Customers can preset individual preferences via a ‘shower butler’. Through this users can alternate between hot and cold water; set the temperature; choose the spray mode; and manage the hand shower and side showers via the interval function.
Other options include water cascades, control of the light, and music.
The home screen, created by design company Phoenix Design, provides a visual display and status of the overall system.
RainBrain was awarded the “iF Communication Award” in the category “Interface Design” in 2010. A total of 1,687 submissions vied for the prize for the best communication design that year.
