A series of light installations has gone up in Berlin and will be on display until January 6.
The Christmas lights, designed by Munich based company Brut Deluxe, come in three different versions. The first being a huge light dome with a diameter of 7.5m, the second is 5 large three-dimensional light cubes, and the third is an artificial landscape consisting of 50 light shrubs.
Brut Deluxe explained: “We want to create a space that can be entered and experienced. We imagine this artificial space in the city as a place of retreat similar to an imaginary clearance in a forest.”
The installations can be found at Joachmstaler Platz, the crossing with Uhlandstrasse and the crossing with Knesebeckstrasse.
