This April, Norway returned to Milan’s Ventura Lambrate to present a fresh insight into the country’s culture of craft and design. Titled ‘Everything is Connected’, the exhibition brought together 30 designers, studios and craftspeople who presented the products and prototypes in furniture, lighting, homewares, textiles and sculpture.
Curated by designer and interior architect Katrin Greiling, the show is the result of a collaboration between Norwegian designers’ union Klubben, DOGA (the Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture), campaigning craft organisation Norwegian Crafts and the paint manufacturer Jotun.
Marking its presence at Milan Design week, Jotun launched and presented a palette of three colours Blue River, Nordic Breeze and Norwegian Wood. All designs on display are set against these colours.
The exhibition space is designed by Norwegian-Italian studio Kråkvik & D’Orazio, who also created the exhibition space for Structure in 2016 and Norwegian Presence in 2015.
