The Interiors Group, which has offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, has fitted out the London offices of Chinese Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group), the state owned petroleum and petrochemical enterprise, which has its global HQ in Beijing.
Sinopec secured the freehold of a 24,000sqft building in West London to house its European HQ, which includes a large trading floor with back office and administration.
The CEO was keen to give staff facilities including a kitchen and dining area. On the reception floor there is a 30 man boardroom with art audio visual system. The other meeting rooms vary in size with plasma screens and video conferencing. The reception itself is finished in cream and beige with a cherry veneer on the desk and doors.
Down the corridor, on the reception floor is a business lounge. Clients and staff who have travelled in from China and elsewhere around the world can freshen up using the showers and changing rooms.
Upstairs on the executive suite, the private offices are complete with cherry veneer furniture and soft leather furnishings for informal meetings.
Also, on this floor is a games area with a pool table, karaoke, Nintendo Wii and drinks facilities. There is a gym with Technogym equipment and lockers, shower facilities and towels.
In addition to the interior work, The Interiors Group has designed and constructed a roof terrace. There is also a ground floor reception lobby to replace the existing one.
