Meet the CID Awards Social Media and Entertainment sponsors: Draw Link Group and Bisley

Dubai-based architecture, interior design and fit-out company, Draw Link Group, joins the CID awards as social media sponsor.

“Draw Link Group has a solid relationship with ITP Media Group and participates yearly in many of its events,” says Daousser Chennoufi, Draw Link Group CEO, adding that the event is also a good networking opportunity.

Describing the UAE as the creative hub of the Middle East, Chennoufi adds that different initiatives such as Design Days Dubai and the recent launch of Dubai Design District, show the growth and maturity of the design landscape in the UAE.

Dubai InterContinental Marina, The Act Hotel and 72 Hotel in Sharjah, are some of Draw Link’s key projects in the region. While the company is anticipating the launch of Rosemont Hotel and Hotel Apartments, a five-star project in Dubai, expected to be delivered in 2018, Chenouffi reveals the company’s expansion plans into the African market with the Four Point Hotel and Hotel Apartments by Sheraton in Uganda.

ENTERTAINMENT SPONSOR: Bisley

UK-based furniture manufacturer Bisley returns as an Entertainment sponsor. For Pierre Le Bourdonnec, area manager at Bisley, the CID Awards is “an unparalleled networking opportunity”.

“And, importantly, it’s a chance for us all to celebrate some of the talents in the region and the outstanding projects that were completed during the year,” he says.

2018 is an exciting year for Bisley as its classic MultiDrawer turns 60. The product is listed by MoMA in New York and the Design Museum in London and was awarded a Furniture Makers Guild Mark in May 2017.

“Sold worldwide it has been copied many times, but like all good icons, the original remains best,” he comments, adding that Bisley has made some exciting updates to its Be range. “Perhaps unsurprisingly for Bisley, Be still has storage at its heart. But now storage is more than a place to put your things; it’s a building block to the workspace you want to create and an elegant way to define office neighbourhoods.”
