The May Fair Hotel, in London, has unveiled what it claims to be the most lavish hotel lavatory.
Worth approximately US$15,800, the Toto Neorest Washlet is a toilet with a futuristic design, including a heated seat, integrated bidet withwarm jets of water, temperature and water massage, dryer and automatic deodoriser – all operated via a wall-mounted remote control panel.
Two of these A-list ablutions have been flown in from bathroom manufacturer Toto – and will feature in the May Fair’s new Ebony Suite, launching this month.
Spanning 110m2, the suite integrates over US$79,000 bathroom technology including basins with colour-changing controls that reflect the temperature of the water, Luminist bathtub that emits a glow while you soak and the Toto Gyrostream shower, which delivers horizontal streams of water.
The interior style signatures include dark wood, ivory and metallic decoration. There is also a 34m2 private terrace, 67m2 lounge with four-seater dining table, kitchenette and separate guest bedroom and bathroom.
