Designer Tom Dixon will be presenting his range of furniture and metallic lighting referencing British members’ clubs at Salone Internazionale del Mobile this year.
He describes the series as a modern take on old gentlemen’s clubs that were found in the UK.
“A misspent youth spent in the London warehouse club scene and a series of experimental private club interiors are the reasons why we have chosen to reinvigorate the fabled British members’ club into a futuristic social environment,” Dixon said.
Club includes Flood, a wide pendant light which has been created through injection-moulded polymers that are commonly used in the automotive industry. Also, Dixon’s well-known metallic Beat pendant lights have been recoloured in a matte-grey.
Club will be on show in Milan from 8 to 13 April.
