Porcelanosa and Zaha Hadid Design recently launched Vitae, the bathroom collection done exclusively for Noken from the Porcelanosa Group.
The Vitae Collection, a new bathroom concept by Zaha Hadid Design has been influenced by Hadid’s fluid architectural language; integrating each piece within the overall ensemble. Shaped by functional and ergonomic considerations, the design is also dependent on the overriding formal language of fluidity.
Fluid lines that evoke water flow are the leitmotif of this outstanding collection. For this reason, it has been named Vitae (“life” in Latin), because in water is where all sort of life begins.
The design of the whole elements has been inspired by the sea shells and how water flows through them.
This integral bathroom collection, which features a bathtub, brassware and mirror, is all about design.
The dimensions and the geometry of the ceramic pieces are handcrafted, and the glazed is individually made. These ceramic pieces include basins, shelves, and wall hung toilet and bidet.
The bathtub includes the hand shower with push system in the bathtub shell.
The brassware features a single lever basin mixer and a single lever bidet mixer, with ECO system, with maximum 5 l/min flow, and plus areator. This areator is Watersense, which is the American certification for those environmentally friendly products. An indent has been placed in the back of the mixer in order to ease its usage.
The LED lighting of the mirrors allows a lower energy consumption.
