Led by UBIFRANCE – the French Agency for International Business Development 30 such companies have chosen Dubai as the place to present their redesigned and renewed collections.
The great variety of sectors involved will be one of the characteristics of this 2011 edition: ranging from all styles of decorative objects to indoor and outdoor furniture to lighting fixtures, billiard tables and hi-fi equipment.
Another trend will be the processing of materials: fabrics, metals, hides, crystals, plants and more.
Some of the exhibitors hold the EPV label (Living Heritage Company), certifying recognition by the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry to reward enterprises demonstrating artisanal and industrial excellence.
The International Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Pays de la Loire Region, as well as the Trades and Crafts Chamber for the Hauts-de-Seine Department (in the Paris Region) are supporting this international approach and will be joining the exhibitors at the UBIFRANCE Pavilion.
Following a successful participation in 2010, La Forge de Style is back at INDEX, from October 22-25. The French/American company specialises in creating and designing artistic metalworks such as bronze, brass, copper, titanium and iron, to develop furniture, banisters, staircases, doors and portals.
It exports 80% of its work throughout the world and made original creations for Tiffany’s in New York and Dior in France.
The French Pavilion at INDEX will be located in Hall 3, Dubai World Trade Centre.
