Steve Kelshaw, managing director, DSA Architects International, speaks to Middle East Architect about the year ahead.

Q: How was 2011 for DSA?
Q: What are your hopes for 2012? A: We start the year with optimism, our order book is healthy and we remain committed to the region. As an international practice with world-wide signature projects, our strategy is to be positive and determined to win our bids with continued quality and dedication.
Q: What are the key projects that you are working on? A: We are currently handling different projects around the region including Bahrain, Jordan, Syria, China and Vietnam. Projects include the Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa in Jordan. Adjacent to the Hilton is the Samarah Rift Townhouses and Retail Mall. In Syria, we are designing a commercial tower within the Eighth Gate Development.
We are also engaged in several master planning projects including the Lebanon Waterfront City in Beirut and Bilaj Al Jazayer in Bahrain.
