Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) says it is preparing for substantial orders for aircraft interiors as Dubai Airshow, paved the way for designers, outfitters and interior designers.
More than 2,000 trade visitors are expected to attend the event at the Airport Expo, Dubai, February 1-2.
“Aircraft manufacturers are now fulfilling the huge orders by this region’s carriers from seats to connectivity to the latest in inflight entertainment,” said Michele Van Akelijen, aerospace director F&E Aerospace.
“AIME is the only event in this region where they can see all their options in one show. The most recent exhibitors confirmed to display these products include US seating manufacturer B/E Aerospace and France’s Gerflor specialising in flooring, plus the UAE’s own paint supplier Airchem Consumables.”
B/E Aerospace said it will present its ‘Essence Galley equipment collection’ for the first time at the show.
It recently won an order from Boeing to manufacture modular lavatory systems for Boeing’s 737 Next Generation of airplanes, as well as the 737 MAX at an estimated value in excess of US$800 million.
“In this current market where demand for aircraft interiors is expanding, it is vital B/E Aerospace is exhibiting, as it offers us a great opportunity to showcase our latest innovations in technology and design,” said Bob Ponti, corporate account executive, at B/E Aerospace.
