Decorative wall panels attract at New York’s art fair

ZigZag by ISSSStudio and deSc

Created by Igor Siddiqui from Austin-based ISSSStudio and Deborah Schneiderman from Brooklyn-bound research studio deSc, ZigZag explores the effect of technology on patterns and decoration in contemporary interior design.

As a jagged wall covered in patterned blue and red graphics, ZigZag framed a seating zone at the reception of the METRO Show, an art exhibition that occurred at New York’s Metropolitan Pavilion.

A piece of matte-black vinyl extended from the bottom of the 100-foot long wall, and created a faux-shadow.
