ASID looking for new CEO

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is looking for a new CEO following the retirement of executive director, Michael Alin, on October 1, after 20 years of service with the organisation.

ASID president Michael Thomas, put together a nine-member taskforce in June, to gather input from ASID stakeholder groups to develop the leadership criteria and job description for the role.

The taskforce, comprised of a team of ASID members and officers, has hired The Greenway Group to manage the search and hiring process.

“This endeavour will be a thoughtful and thorough process, one that will require the taskforce to look to the future of the design profession to ensure that ASID remains the leading voice of the profession and continues to be the definitive resource for our members as our profession continues to evolve,” reported Thomas in
