AW² recognised for Six Senses Con Dao Vietnam

AW² award recognition for Six Senses Con Dao Vietnam.

AW² has won the Best Hotel & Tourism Resorts at the 2012 MIPIM Awards (international real estate show) for its design of Six Senses Con Dao in Vietnam.

The Six Senses Con Dao Resort is located on the island of Con Dao, in the province of Vung Tau in the south of Vietnam. It houses 35 pool suites and 14 Villas.

AW² had already been rewarded for its work on the resort with a Green Good Design Award, an international property award for Best Small Hotel and a Chicago Museum of Architecture and Design Architecture Award.


This is the second nomination at the award, as the firm had The Nam Hai, its first five star hotel design in Vietnam, nominated in 2007.

Established in 1997, AW² is a firm of architects and designers based in Paris, France. It is managed by Stephanie Ledoux and Reda Amalou. Its success led to the opening of partner office in Vietnam in 2005.

Its portfolio includes the Frenc h School of Amman, Jordan FV Hospital, 200 bed Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and The Chedi Tamouda Bay, Morocco.
