Axor, the designer brand of Hansgrohe AG, manufacturer of bathroom fittings and showerheads has developed and launched the Axor Bouroullec Composer, an online bathroom planning tool helping both design professionals and customers visualise bathroom design.
The Axor Bouroullec Composer was introduced at Index in Dubai, where visitors had the chance to compose their own bathroom.
“The Axor Bouroullec collection has put the individualisation of the bathroom back on the agenda, and this time with a consistency and thoroughness that is unprecedented. The fittings and elements can be combined in different ways with the various wash basin models available in the collection,” a spokesman said.
Available in two versions, the online tool offers a 2D views, installation instructions and dimensional drawings, which can be printed out.
The customer version of the software offers a 3D view which gives an impression of how the finished product will look with a variation of materials and colours.
The Composer helps customers design their own wash station and address questions about functional requirements and aesthetic preferences.
A bathtub module will shortly be added to the Axor Bouroullec Composer; versions for touch screens and iPads are being developed.
