Dubai’s Burj Khalifa is the third top place in the world for photographing selfies according to a survey of social media.
Tourist site AttractionTix analysed online trends to find mentions of travel hotspots alongside the word “selfie”, and compiled a list of the favourite places for a self-portrait.
With 8,860 selfies, the world’s tallest building came in third – ahead of London’s Big Ben and the Colosseum in Rome.
Simon Applebaum, consumer marketing director at AttractionTix, said: “Selfies are the standard thing to do nowadays at an attraction.
“It was interesting to see that the Burj Khalifa, one of the world’s newest skyscrapers, beat sites with hundreds of years of history.”
