Commitment to sustainability of Vietnamese architect recognised by RIBA

A commitment to sustainable design has led to Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia being presented with the RIBA International Fellows Award 2017.

The trophy aims to honour architects who make a special contribution to the world’s urban design by creating eco-friendly works.

Vo Trong Nghia, born in 1976 in the central province of Quang Binh, graduated from the Hanoi University of Architecture in 1996 and got a master degree from Tokyo University in 2004.

He started his firm Vo Trong Nghia Architects in 2006 with an emphasis on projects that are green and use local products.
