Property tycoon Donald Trump’s latest Trump Tower will be erected in Mumbai, designed by Singapore studio WOHA.
Inspired by crystal glass, the tower will feature a golden curtain-wall façade and will comprise of 75 storeys.
The tower offers a selection of three to four bedroom apartments, providing residents access to luxuries such as private jets, to white-glove services, and 24-hour spa and gym facilities.
Trump said the tower would create an “iconic landmark” in Mumbai, and described the project as the “most spectacular residence ever to grace the city”.
He said: “It has been my desire for many years to have the Trump name adorn Mumbai’s beautiful skyline. Its iconic architecture, dazzling golden façade and grand interiors make it a marvel of design.”
The project will be delivered in collaboration with Indian property developer Lodha Group.
Abhishek Lodha, managing director said at the launch: “Our collaboration on Trump Tower Mumbai not only raises the bar in every sense for luxury and services, but sets a new benchmark for luxury living in India- creating a tower that redefines the Mumbai skyline.”
Interior for the tower will be undertaken by HBA Singapore. Each apartment will house triple-aspect windows, no shared walls, Poggenpohl kitchens and indoor Jacuzzis.
