DAMAC moves forward with Versace-branded Beirut tower

DAMAC Properties has awarded the US$67m main construction contract for its Versace-branded residential development, ‘DAMAC Tower’ in Beirut, Lebanon.

Assigned to MAN Enterprise S.A.L, the construction contract follows the completion of the enabling works by ZETAS Apex Foundation Technologies.

The 28-storey tower, overlooks the Solidere Marina on the shores of the Mediterranean. Last year it received an International Property Award for ‘Best High Rise Architecture.’

“DAMAC Tower is an architectural marvel and we relish the opportunity to be involved with a project of this calibre” said Michel Abi Nader, chairman of MAN Enterprise.

The tower’s common areas – including the health and fitness facilities, the concierge reception, and the main lobby – will feature Versace Home products.

DAMAC has completed 36 buildings to date, comprising 7,374 units. A further I50 buildings, comprising almost 10,000 units, are at various stages of construction across the MENA region.
