d-ash design’s new look for Godiva’s 5th Avenue Flagship store (featured in Commercial Interior Design) won the Specialty Food category in Chain Store Age’s 30th Annual Retail Store of the Year design competition.
The boutique is the first of Godiva’s US stores to represent the new global concept designed by New York based interior design firm, d-ash design.
“Partnering with Godiva has been a rewarding experience. We have developed a true collaboration that has had great results and, on a personal level, has been very gratifying,” said David Ashen, d-ash design’s president & executive creative director.
“We are so excited to win this award for the 5th Avenue location. It is a jewel box that we are very proud of,” he added.
Godiva’s vice president of global store design and visual merchandising, Linda Lombardi, said: “We are thrilled to be back on Fifth Avenue, where New Yorkers and travelers from across the globe can now visit us for our delectable chocolate offerings. To win and be recognised for the design work is a terrific feeling.”
