Mexican firm proposes swimming pool tower

Mexican architecture studio DCPP Arquitectos has proposed an unusual tower design, Sky Condos, for Lima, Peru with the aim to create an iconic building in Latin America.

The scheme features concrete swimming pools sticking out from the base of the tower like floating diving boards.

Constructed beside a golf course, the 20-storey tower’s façade is made of transparent glass.

A series of elevated courtyards are also included in the design. The swimming pools are planned to jut out of every courtyard with no indication of safety rails.
