The deadline is looming for the fifth annual Commercial Interior Design Awards 2011 and applicants have until August 1 to submit their nominations online via


The awards will pay tribute to the projects, interior design firms and designers making their mark on the region’s interior design industry and will herald work that displays original thinking, creativity and a willingness to stray from tried and tested formulas.

The awards are open to individuals, companies and organisations working in the Middle East and the event will be held at Madinat Jumeirah on Monday, October, 24, 2011 at 7pm.

“I am delighted to be a part of the fifth annual Commercial Interior Design Awards,” said Jenny Eagle, editor.

“I am looking forward to seeing how many entries we get this year and am thrilled to recognise and reward those regional and international players that have gone above and beyond in terms of their industry contribution.”

The Commercial Industry Design Awards 2011 ceremony will include 13 categories covering projects, design firms and individuals. You may nominate your own company, a supplier, a business partner, or client. Self nominations are also accepted.

The agenda for the night will include a networking reception, followed by the awards ceremony, a gala dinner and post event networking.
