Artist Eric Peyret was born in southern France in 1964, and studied arts in Paris. A specialist in large scale works he interprets the architecture of a city in classical terms.
His work has been shown all across the world from New York to Beijing and his studies of Dubai are on show at the city’s Fann-À-Porter art gallery, Kempinski Hotel, Mall of the Emirates.
Peyret said: “What attracts me in Dubai compared to other cities is the unique energy, the concrete realisation of a vision that we can observe all around us.
“The perpetual signs of creativity we can see, the cosmopolitism of the people, which I try and reflect in my work through using different dress, the link the city has with a past, present and future.”
