Dubai’s Town Square neighbourhood, by developer Nshama, has won the Gold Nuggets 2016 Award for Best International Site Plan.
The project is Town Square is anchored by a central square the size of 16 football fields and also includes the Vida Town Square Dubai hotel and a Reel Cinema.
It also features a retail precinct with more than 600 stores and dining outlets, green trails, outdoors sports courts and cycling tracks.

Gold Nugget Awards Judge Don Ruthroff of Dahlin Group Architecture Planning, said this year’s competition was exceptionally diverse, with winners coming from throughout the US and internationally.
He said: “Creative ideas in design do not know boundaries. We found the variety and level of excellence to be particularly heartening this year.”
