A celebration of the design of one of the most iconic motor vehicles of all time is currently being staged at The Beach retail and entertainment hub in Dubai.
Inside Rolls-Royce examines what makes up the classic English car – from its engine to its colour scheme, alongside the car’s removable umbrella and customised picnic basket with cutlery and glasses.
The exhibition takes place over eight areas, each focusing on one key aspect in the creation of a Rolls-Royce motor car and also includes details of the original inventor of the vehicle, Charles Stewart Rolls and Sir Frederick Henry Royce.
A room showcasing colour displays the palette of 44,000 paint hues, while specialists from the home of Rolls-Royce, in Goodwood, England, are on hand to demonstrate the skills required to create the “best car in the world.”
An exhibition highlights sees the Spirit of Ecstasy – the small statuette on the front of a Rolls-Royce – take centre stage as a video wall captures the movement of visitors and fuses their actions with the totem.
The display – which also includes a static displayed Rolls-Royce Wraith – is free to enter and runs until tomorrow (Monday).
