First F&B design show Gulf a la Carte

Al Aqili Furnishings and hospitality equipment supplier A. Ronai are the latest companies to join Gulf a la Carte, the first trade exhibition in Abu Dhabi dedicated to those who create and manage restaurants, clubs and cafes.

Held in partnership with ‎Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA), it will showcase trends for the food and beverage sector including design and fit out, to equipment and supplies, technology and management systems.

“Business Monitor International forecasts a 67% growth in the number of food service outlets in the UAE by 2013. This is an industry of continuing growth and the participation of Al Aqili Furnishings and A. Ronai demonstrates this is a sector that serious businesses cannot ignore,” said Maggie Moore, event director, Gulf a la Carte.

Having furnished and fitted some of the region’s hospitality projects, Al Aqili Furnishings currently represents over 50 global brands that forms a portfolio of flooring, fabrics, lighting, wall covering, and furniture. To name a few, these include Shaw Industries, Beaulieu Floors, Belgian International Carpets, Francesco Molon, Arte de Mexico, TrustMark, Feltex, Fischerr Parkett and Masland.

A. Ronai will showcase its range of uniforms both by its in-house designer and from Simon Jersey. The company will also exhibit tableware and bone china by Steelite, contemporary cutlery, and flatware by Oneida, catering equipment by Burco and lighting solutions by Ambiflame, Flexilight and Glass & Co.

Gulf à la Carte will host the first Regional Food and Beverage Congress where industry professionals will discuss topical issues and demonstrate, discuss and analyse international and local industry trends and developments.

The event will also feature Sales and Marketing Clinics for Food and Beverage businesses, and a set of Round Table discussions.

The exhibition will take place from November 21 to 23 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
