Ström Architects has planning permission for a 160m² holiday home in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, UK.
The two-storey retreat has a raised building above the seasonally damp ground together with a platform which includes a terrace and outdoor and indoor fireplaces.
The design also features a prefabricated timber structure for speedy construction and larch cladding which is expected to weather to a silvery grey colour.
The New Forest is one of Britain’s most popular parks and has a mix of woodland and heath with animals such as ponies and deer roaming free.
It is also a popular spot for holidaymakers setting off for the Isle of Wight, which host some of Britain’s most popular sailing events.
