Foster + Partners to open new Apple store in Dubai

Foster + Partners has designed the new Apple store which will open tomorrow (Thursday) in Dubai Mall.

The tech giant said in a release that the new store will be a space for community “to gather, learn and be entertained”.

The shop will feature a 186-foot curved storefront and a balcony that will overlook the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain, serving as a venue to watch the fountain shows.

“We view our stores as a modern-day town square, where visitors come to shop, be inspired, learn to connect with others in their community,” said Angela Ahrendts, senior vice president for retail, in a press release.
