A stunning example of Mughal architecture, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi has been voted second top global landmark by travel website TripAdvisor,

It took over ten years to complete the massive project and it is currently the largest mosque in the UAE.

The design was inspired by the idea of ‘uniting the world’ – and travellers from around the world were suitably impressed, with reviews including such words as “spectacular”, “splendid”, and “breathtaking”.
