GulfHost looks to attract architects and designers to its 2017 edition

Taking place from 18-20 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the inaugural edition of GulfHost will bring together international industry suppliers to enable regional buyers to source the latest products and services.

According to a report released by GulfHost, nearly 19,000 new food and beverage outlets are slated to open in the UAE by 2019, and with the competitive consumer landscape, experts have reported a significant focus on architectural and interior design as a means to attract customers through the door.

According to Wajdi Najjar, senior architect at The China State Construction Engineering Corporation, architects will be attending GulfHost in order to specify new products and technology available on the market.

“I will be attending to specify a wide range of kitchen solutions on behalf of CSCEC,” he said. “Working with 5-star hotels in Dubai means finding ways to incorporate the best technology in the early design stages. Aside from offering us a change to gauge the market, having access to everything under one roof will put us in the strongest position to recommend the latest and best solutions to our clients on various projects.”

GulfHost comes as part of Dubai International Hospitality Week, endorsed by Dubai Tourism. The platform consolidates six key trade shows including The Hotel Show, The Leisure Show, Speciality Food Festival, SEAFEX Middle East and yummex ME.
