Zaha Hadid has unveiled her latest creation – an 18-carat white gold cuff studded with 1,048 diamonds for Lebanese jewellery house Aziz and Walid Mouzannar.
The Silene cuff has the jewels in a pattern that emanates from the centre of the curved piece, creating a web around petal-shaped sections, which become larger towards the cuff’s edges.
“Silene expresses the fluidity and complexity of natural forms,” said Hadid. “An intricate web gently envelops the pristine white gold cuff resulting in a delicate piece that explores the evolution of organic geometries and patterning.”
Only twelve Silene cuffs have been produced, with just one made in 18-carat white gold while the others are formed from different gold varieties.
