Manufacturers of bathroom fittings and showerheads, Hansgrohe, presented its solutions for a more sustainable future at the Abu Dhabi Quality Forum.

Taking place on 28 and 29 of April, the event was organised by the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) which seeks to enhance Abu Dhabi’s quality infrastructure.

This initiative comes in pursuit of QCC’s objective to act as key contributors to achieving Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030.

According to QCC, Abu Dhabi uses a significant amount of water per year which led to the plan to promote water saving fixtures to both residents and businesses.

This is where Hansgrohe comes in with its range of mixers and showerheads, fitted with the EcoSmart Technology that consumes up to 60% less water than conventional products.

It has recently been awarded the Abu Dhabi Trustmark for Environmental Performance, meeting UAE and international standards.

Dirk Schilmoeller (pictured), sales director Middle East, Hansgrohe, said: “We are now definitely witnessing a genuine drive from homeowners and developers seeking to achieve increasingly higher levels of sustainability.

“Water is a precious resource and, as a manufacturer of mixers and showers, it is our passion to seek ground-breaking innovative solutions that improve the use of water and build a common agenda for quality in the UAE.”
