More than 30 students from Heriot-Watt University will take part in an Interior Design Show at its Dubai campus next week.
Pupils will present their work to the public as well as gain invaluable feedback from industry experts from design companies including Bagno, Hafele and Sicis.
“We are thrilled to be hosting the 2012 Interior Design Show at our new custom built campus,” said Linsey Dolan Thomson, lecturer, interior design, Heriot-Watt University.
“The show gives students a chance to interact with various design focused parties. It is also a fantastic opportunity for students to explain in detail their thought process behind the creative concepts and design solutions. ”
Students at the university textiles and design department have worked through various modules throughout the year on the topics of design, materials, and technology.
The Interior Design Show 2012 will give a chance for all current students to showcase their work, to prospective students and partners in the industry.
Professor Ammar Kaka, vice principal and head of the Dubai campus, said the show will give guests a chance to see what type of programme is on offer at the university for interior design.
The show is held from 3pm-9pm in the Design Studios at Heriot-Watt Campus on Wednesday, May 23.
