Hong Kong International Lighting Fair opens 2017 edition

DesignMENA Promotion: The Hong Kong International Lighting Fair‘s Spring Edition will open on from 6-9 April 2017 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibiton Centre.

Last year’s edition saw a total of 20,000 buyers from 108 countries, hosting over 1,300 exhibitors. The event is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), presenting current industry trends with a focus on energy-efficient lighting products, from LEDs and smart technology lighting solutions as well as presenting new frontiers of lighting technology.

To draw maximum focus from buyers, this year’s edition will be organised in groups of thematic zones. These include Advertising Display Lighting, Avenue of Chandeliers, Business of IP Zone, Commercial Lighting, Decorative Lighting, LEDs and Green Lighting, Lighting Accessories, Parts & Components, as well as Outdoor Lighting and Trade Service & Publications.

The fair also includes stand-alone events such as the Networking Reception that welcomes a an international gathering of lighting professionals and experts.

 

Seminars and forums are also taking place during the course of the event, which will explore the many aspects of the lighting industry, from lifestyle trends to emerging markets.
