Hyatt opens new hotel for Expo tourists

Dubai Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and developer Wasl Hospitality have combined to launch a new hotel in Al Rigga, Dubai to accommodate the expected influx of visitors in the run-up to Expo 2020.

The fourth Hyatt in Dubai is a 210-room offering targeting both business and leisure customers.

Wasl chief executive Hesham Al Qassim said: “The opening of this hotel further strengthens our relationship with Hyatt, which currently includes three of Wasl’s properties, including Park Hyatt Dubai, Grand Hyatt Dubai and Hyatt Regency Dubai.

“The Hyatt Place brand offers an innovative service concept and a modern design that we believe will be very successful in Dubai and throughout the Middle East. Wasl remains committed to providing affordable and modern accommodation and facilities to cater to Dubai’s increasing demand for mid-range tourism in the years leading up to Expo 2020.”
