International figures in architecture, fashion and interior design, Hadi Teherani, Francesc Rife, Bruno Triplet and Gabriella Saracino have confirmed their participation as keynote speakers for the Interior Design Congress.
The Interior Design Congress is one of the events that will take place during the inaugural Festival of Interior Design (FoID), with the key objective of highlighting the significance of interior design and providing a venue where the region’s design professionals can meet and discuss industry trends and issues.
“The Interior Design Congress is clearly shaping up to be a must attend event during the inaugural Festival of Interior Design. The presence of some of the world’s leading names in interior design and architecture as featured speakers during the congress will prove to be one of the main highlights of the festival,” said Farida Abdulla Kamber Al Awadhi, president, APID.
“Our invited speakers will be leading discussions on key topics like emerging markets, fashion and the current state of the region’s interior design industry. Participants will surely gain the advantage of learning from design masters like David Trubridge, Hadi Teherani, Francesc Rife, Bruno Triplet and Gabriella Saracino and further be inspired to come out with more creative and innovative designs,” she added.
Francesc Rife is a leading interior and industrial designer originally hailing from Sant Sadurni de’Anoia, Spain. Bruno Triplet is an interior designer with a more contemporary yet simple and pure focus on home decoration. Hadi Teherani’s work can be seen from Dubai to Hamburg and from Moscow to Istanbul, reflecting designs of modern cityscapes in international cities. Gabriella Saraceno is a fashion designer who has previously worked with Versace.
The Interior Design Congress will take place on October 22, 2011 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
