“In a city that is teeming with hair salons, I wanted to do something different,” said the owner, Gianfranco Angioi.

“The Milaneseare very conscious of their look, not only for their hair, but also for their homes. Being in the capital of Italian design, it seemed only natural to combine these two great passions and this is the idea behind ANJOY – an oasis of beautyand design where one can get their hair done while enjoying the best in Italian furniture and creativity,” he added.

Upon entering the salon, visitors see the upholstered Megatizzi bench from Creazioni. The armless-version ofthis bench, located at the entrance of the salon, features a high backrest covered in red fabric enhanced by capitonné which runs the entire length. The top is adorned by a classic-style embellishment with a red rubber-effect finish.

When a customer’s turn comes, they take a seat in front of the mirror in one of the Diva/k chairs from Colico Design. This cone-shaped swivel chair features a chromium-plated structure with adjustable height. The seats in the salon come in a silver-grey colored technopolymer, though they are also available in a myriad of colors as well as versions that are covered in leather or faux-leather.

Hair products are displayed on two different bookcase models from MDF Italia. The Random 08 bookcase is made of LG HI-MACS which is mass-pigmented in Alpine White. It features compartments of varying sizes.

Meanwhile, the Vita bookcase is a universally modular system made of medium density fiberboard and lacquered in glossy white. Larger sized units can even be made by flanking one bookcase next to another.
