Jotun has recently unveiled a palette of distinctive and versatile shades for autumn/winter 2016. The winter shades are inspired by natural elements.
The earthy shades of the palette Oliventre (8430) a deep rustic olive green that blends perfectly with plants, wood, whites and shades of beige.
Rustic Terracotta (2771) is a hue inspired by handmade terracotta and is a great matchup with linen, wood and reds.
The last of the season’s hues and one that adds a luxurious feel to any interior space is Persian Khaki (1623), which blends well with the golds and browns inspired by Persian rugs, and which can be a great replacement to white coloured walls.
“This year people continue to embrace nature and what comes from it.,” says Rana Khadra, regional Brand manager of Jotun MENA. “Adopting traditional ways of living in today’s modern world is reflected in what we see in the world of design. This trend is visible in interior design, furniture, colours and also in paints. This is why this year’s Autumn Winter collection is a beautiful mix of olive inspired green, terracotta pottery red, and a khaki inspired by the elegance of Persian rugs. Unlike the trends of pastels we saw in previous years, the colours this year are deeper, more rustic and burnt.”
