Kingdom Tower to be overseen by The Shard managers

Jeddah’s Kingdom Tower, set to be the world’s tallest building, will be managed by the firm behind the construction of the recently completed The Shard in London.

London-based Mace will enter a joint venture with another British firm, EC Harris, to oversee KSA’s $1.2bn skyscraper.

The 1km tall tower, designed by AS+GG, will be three times taller than the 306-metre Shard and is part of  Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal’s $19.6bn redevelopment of the Kingdom City.
