KREOD set to build new international trade pavilion for 2016 Olympics

Architecture and design agency KREOD has revealed plans for an international trade pavilion for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The pavilion, which will stand at 1,200m2, will float above a platform in Barra de Tijuca lagoon, located near Olympic park.

Chun Qing Li, the founding director of KREOD, is said to be leading the project which intends to bring together entrepreneurs and industry professionals from across the world to discuss the future and importance of business as well as showcase new products.

Leading suppliers and subcontractors involved in the project include: Blue Stone Glass and Kebony Timber.
