Rosewood hotel opens in Abu Dhabi

Luxury hotel and resort chain Rosewood opened its Abu Dhabi branch in the emirate’s Central Business District on 1 May 2013.

Located on the waterfront of Sowwah Square in the heart of Al Maryah Island, Rosewood Abu Dhabi promises to offer residents and guests a high-end luxury experience.

Going off the brand’s maxim, “A sense of place,” Rosewood Abu Dhabi reflects the region’s traditional architecture and design, history and sensibilities.

From glamorous lounges to lavish detailing, the new hotel provides the region’s locale a fusion of contemporary design with opulent living standards.

The five-star, 34-storey hotel entails 189 guest rooms, 58 serviced residences, 73 long-term leased residences and four extravagant penthouses.

Additionally, Rosewood Abu Dhabi provides a number of facilities including nine signature restaurants and lounges, and eight fully equipped conference and event spaces.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts holds 18 properties in eight countries, with Rosewood Abu Dhabi marking the chain’s fourth property in the Middle East joining Riyadh’s Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama, as well as Rosewood Corniche in Jeddah.
