Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi’s award-winning scheme by Australian architects DBI Design, has opened 10 boutique stores in its new luxury shopping centre.
Avenue at Etihad Towers is set over two levels and is connected to the city’s first Jumeirah hotel, which was named ‘World’s Leading New Hotel’ in the World Travel Awards last year.
The mall will eventually house 35 brands, and is said to be the capital’s first standalone luxury shopping destination.
Developed by Sheikh Suroor Projects Department (SSPD), Etihad Towers covers an area of over 500,00m2, with five towers over 300 metres in height.
In addition to the hotel and retail destination, it contains three residential towers, one office tower, a convention centre and a ballroom catering for up to 2,000 guests.
