LW Design and Waterman has been hired to head up the refurbishment and rebranding of the Pullman Deira City Centre, formerly The City Centre Hotel, Dubai.
The first stage by Accor will be completed by the 3rd quarter of 2012.
“The refurbishment and rebranding of The City Centre Hotel to Pullman Deira City Centre Dubai will infuse the interiors with classic chic decor which is part of the brand focus and comprises a refurbishment of all guest rooms and public areas,” said Omar Saouab, operations manager.
The Pullman Deira City Centre Dubai will have 317 rooms and suites and three food and beverage outlets.
It also includes a rooftop spa and swimming pool, treatment rooms, steam rooms, fitness centre, and nine meeting rooms with private breakout areas.
MAF has appointed Waterman as lead consultant to head up the entire refurbishment.
It has also directly appointed LWD to undertake the interior design component, though Waterman has responsibility to integrate all work (both within its contract for architectural and engineering roles, and all other directly appointed consultants including LWD) into the overall package of works.
