Both her company and the judges praised Said’s ability to satisfy the demands of her clients while still keeping her design integrity.
The winner said: “I am really surprised – but obviously pleasantly so – Especially as there was so many talented people in this category. It is a great honour. Being in Dubai I am very conscious of trying to keep some of the traditions alive when it comes to design. I also feel that design should give something back which is why I have been involved in charity work.”
