Leading architects Omrania & Associates has selected information solutions and software provider Deltek Vision to take on the role of uniting its international operations.
The building and engineering company has been responsible for Saudi Arabian construction designs such as Riyadh’s CMA Tower and the Tuwaiq Palace which hosts cultural festivals and state receptions in the kingdom.
The new partnership will see Deltek, based in Hernden, Virginia, USA, work alongside Saudi-based Omrania which also has offices in Bahrain and Jordan and has worked on projects in Yemen, Lebanon,
Major co-operation will be in the fields of financial and project management – with even mobile phone network access for employees working in the field falling under the US firm’s responsibility.
Omrania say the move is a key part in its strategy to reach out into new markets.
“As we look to expand our global presence, it will become increasingly important to unite our business on one common platform that will allow us to accelerate our project delivery, and in turn, our client satisfaction,” said Nafez Akhras, chief technology officer.
“With multiple offices across the Middle East, we require complete visibility of our operations and throughout our software evaluation process.
“Deltek Vision cemented its reputation as the industry-leading ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution that would allow us to tie together our project and financial reporting, and provide the decision making capabilities we need to realise our growth goals.”
Neil Davidson, managing director of Deltek said the company would: “Deliver exceptional project management to turn designs into reality.”
